Yes, there are a few Farmers Market wagons available for our elderly patrons to use to carry heavy produce such as watermelon or for families with children to utilize while AT the market. They are for market hour use only. Please return them to the center of market by the Information Table once you have finished using them.

Anyone riding through the market will be asked to step off and walk it or leave the market.
The Leavenworth Farmers Market utilizes HayMarket Square from an agreement with the city of Leavenworth for Wednesdays and Saturdays. We are a producer-only market focused on providing locally grown food to our community with a few artisans. A separate organization, the Leavenworth Main Street Association, shares the market on second Saturdays of the month and has a variety of craft and local vendors that do not carry or produce the same products at the Farmers market. We appreciate working together for our community.
Many of the farmers, bakers and local producers at our market work a primary job in addition to their adventures as a market vendor and several work at area schools. Others may have family activities, such as kids in Soccer on certain weekends. The primary reason you'll not see some vendors until later in the season is because the Midwest grow season takes time and certain produce like peppers, sweet corn and melons are not available until the first of July or later. So, while some are unavailable for the mid-week market or unavailable on certain Saturdays, we have such a large variety of vendors that increase as the full summer season progresses.

Some vendors at the Leavenworth Farmers Market accept credit and debit cards at their individual booths. Alternatively, you can swipe your card at our information booth to receive $5 tokens (pictured), which are treated like cash with farmers market vendors. For your convenience, there is also ATM availability nearby.
Change may be given at the Leavenworth Farmers Market, where sales tax is charged and various payment methods are accepted. Additionally, there are no restrictions on purchases, and ATM availability makes transactions convenient.
